Lovin’ Me Some Consignment Window Shopping

I found my new favorite consignment shop: Consignment Classics

http://consignmentclassics.net/

We went there as a family so I could show Jake a few things I liked. Ayzia found her favorite couches. She and I talked about how fun it would be to get them; when she’s old enough to have her own apartment.

Ayzia loved the shape! This would be her reading couch.

This can be made flat like a bed. I don't know how Ayzia felt about me sleeping on it when I came to visit, but I was excited.

Musical Performance

Ayzia had an All American Musical Performance at school this last week. I rather enjoyed myself! It was fun to hear them sing the same patriotic songs I learned in elementary. Having Ayzia stand in front of a crowd is always  rewarding for me because it’s something that doesn’t come easy for her.  It was fun to see children dressed up in military uniforms and American leaders such as Abe Lincoln. The best costume was the Statue of Liberty.

This was taken after the performance by Ayzia's classroom.

Paper Flowers II

I had so much fun making flowers for Teacher Appreciation week, these were made just for our keeping.

We have been big into Lego around here. The flowers are made out of a Lego magazine we receive monthly.

The flowers' center and middle flower are scripture references from favorite spring of 2014 General Conference talks. The fine paper is from one of our bibles.
